Biosecurity in Sheep and Goat Farming: A Rapid Review of Farmers’ Attitudes, Barriers and Drivers in the Global North
A rapid literature review was carried out to explore small ruminant farmers’ practices and attitudes relating to biosecurity. The review focused on sheep and goat farming in the Global North (Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand). The literature explored farmers’ attitudes to biosecurity, barriers and drivers to biosecurity uptake, attitudes towards biosecurity governance, information sources on biosecurity, perceptions of the effectiveness of measures and general considerations on the limitations and conclusions of studies.
