Efficacy of a feed additive consisting of vermiculite for piglets and pigs for fattening (Regal B.V.)
Following a request from the European Commission, EFSA was asked to deliver a scientific opinion on the efficacy of vermiculite as technological additive for piglets and pigs for fattening. The additive is already authorised for use for chickens for fattening, chickens reared for laying or reproduction and hens. In the previous opinion, the FEEDAP Panel concluded that vermiculite is efficacious as anticaking agent when used at 10,000 mg/kg complete feed.
