Evaluation of confirmatory data following the Article 12 MRL review for beta-cyfluthrin
The applicant Bayer AG submitted a request to the competent national authority in Germany to evaluate the confirmatory data for beta‐cyfluthrin, which had been identified as unavailable in the framework of the maximum residue level (MRL)review under Article 12 of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005. Although cyfluthrin and beta‐cyfluthrin are no longer authorised for use on edible crops within the European Union, MRLs on wheat and barley were established based on import tolerances, and the data gaps on these crops are still relevant.
