Efficacy of a feed additive consisting of Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-1079 for dogs and all other Canidae (Danstar Ferment AG)
Following a request from the European Commission, the EFSA Panel on Additives and Products or Substances used in Animal Feed (FEEDAP) was asked to deliver a scientific opinion on the efficacy of a feed additive consisting of Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I‐1079 for dogs and all other Canidae, intended for use as a zootechnical additive (functional group: gut flora stabilisers). In a previous opinion, the FEEDAP Panel could not conclude on the efficacy of the additive under the proposed conditions of use.
