UK food label software (assimilated 1169)

Build a UK-compliant food label from your recipe — the back-of-pack nutrition table, allergen emphasis in the ingredient list, and a business-operator address that satisfies a GB label.

Unlimited labels on the free plan. Previews are watermarked — that is the only difference.

What UK / FSA labels must carry

Built to UK / FSA
Accepted panel formats UK-STD, UK-Linear
Markets covered The United Kingdom — England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland — with Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man

From one recipe to your UK / FSA label

1. Enter the recipe once. Add ingredients and amounts; LabelYog searches like your suppliers write.
2. Point it at United Kingdom. The engine applies the reference amount, rounds each nutrient the way this regulator requires, and picks an accepted format.
3. Export print-ready. The panel, ingredient and allergen declarations, dielines, barcodes, QR codes and designer label artwork — fitted to the trim size you print.

The same recipe can then be re-pointed at any of the other markets LabelYog supports without re-entering anything.

UK / FSA labelling — questions

Is the UK still on EU 1169 rules after Brexit?

The UK applies Regulation 1169/2011 as ASSIMILATED law, maintained separately at legislation.gov.uk and enforced in England through the Food Information Regulations 2014. The starting point is the same regulation; it is now a British instrument that can and does change on its own.

Can I use my EU label in the UK?

Not for the operator particular. Art. 8(1) as assimilated substitutes the British Islands, so the name and postal address on a GB label must be in the UK, Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man. An address in Dublin or Berlin satisfies an EU label and does not satisfy a GB one — and the reverse is equally true. LabelYog checks the address against the destination, not against a single list.

Does LabelYog handle the UK separately from the EU?

Yes for the parts we have read at source: the operator territory, the language, and the type-size floor. The two regimes currently share a panel layout, and we say plainly that a full side-by-side reading of the assimilated UK text against the consolidated EU text is work we have not finished — rather than implying the two are identical.
